My son loves doing crafts...I wonder where he gets it from. Today we made felt monsters. He loves mixing and matching them and creating new faces... My favorite is the one with the tie, moustache, and the top hat :)
My name is Sarah and I am a craftoholic. Admitting it is the first step, right? But besides that I am also a mother to one rad little boy and a wife to my very own American hero. He is currently stationed in Okinawa, Japan...so I have clung to crafting as my therapy.
Simply put I love to create things. I love getting ideas and then figuring out how to make it happen. I taught myself how to sew when I was in high school and developed my love when I took a sewing class. Later on I attended FIDM. With my love to create in mind I chose to major in Product Development. I didn't learn lots of technical sewing skills like I would have with a Fashion Design major but in retrospect I 100% chose the correct path for myself. You see, I was 9 months pregnant as I finished my last class at FIDM and decided to live the amazing life of a stay at home mom. Now finally, I am ready to put myself to the test and am starting my own business. I am incredibly grateful to have some business classes under my belt. I am so excited for this new adventure in my life. Stay tuned for updates on my progress...and wish me luck! :)
