Shoe Clips - Coming Soon!

I am really excited about these! Obviously, you can tell from previous projects like these...

that I like dressing up my shoes. I love the idea of expanding the possibilities for your shoes, especially these days when the majority of people can't afford new shoes for every outfit. I used to be shoe obsessed but now I am shoe clip obsessed.

These are even 3 legged cat approved...

I just need a few supplies and then it's time to get started!!

Why Hello Friday

Is it really Friday already? With an out of town husband and a sick boy I have gotten NOTHING accomplished this week. Oh well that's life I guess. My sister in law has a booth at the Harvest Festival up in Northern California this weekend and she is selling some of my items...so far they are a hit. That's exciting news! Well, that's all I have to update you with. Hopefully I get more accomplished next week. :)

Jersey Scarves

I finally have pictures of the jersey scarves I was talking about...
Ruffled...

Pleated...

Scarf? Necklace? I don't know but I like it...

Since I wasn't able to make it to the Flea Market I will slowly be adding these to my esty store next week. I have all the styles in mustard, purple, magenta, turquoise, grey, orange, and tan. $15 each

The Sweetest Sin Salon & Boutique

My sister in law owns a hair salon in Northern California. I made her some hair accessories that she could sell in the salon...
I made more headbands with felt flowers and fabric flowers but I've already posted pictures of those before so I won't bore you again :)
I made these little girl hair pins...

more hair pins...

and a few rings...

And I must add I didn't technically make the chrysanthemum hair pins and rings...more like assembled. In the future I would like to be able to get the materials needed to make these myself though.
So if you live in the Fresno area stop by the Sweetest Sin Salon & Boutique. I am also sending a few scarves as well. I will be sending clutches up there soon too as soon as I have more made.

Simple & Sweet

I was asked to make an apron for a bridal shower. I was excited because I have been wanting to make one for awhile now! So I whipped up a pattern and had the apron done the next day. I think it came out super cute so there will be a lot more to follow soon...
A gathered front...

A slightly rounded bottom...

An adorable bow in the back...

Change of Plans

Welp, I took most of my clutches off of etsy. They are now available at Laurenly Clothing Boutique in Old Town Orange...so exciting! I have eight clutches there including this pretty little clutch...

So go check them out! If you have never been there you have to stop by. It is a cute little boutique! http://www.laurenly.net/
Hopefully I will have more items there soon!
As for etsy, I am still going to do it especially for the my Home Goods and Children's things. However, I must admit, I'm not as excited about Etsy as I used to be. It is an amazing website it is just taking up too much of my time. Being a stay at home mom, I only sew in my free time. It takes up all my free time just to get my stuff made and then to have to take the photos, upload them, write descriptions, etc. And then the website is sooo busy that 5 minutes later your items are already a few pages back. Sooo like I said I am still going to do it, it is just not going to be my main focus. I think I will commit to putting 1 or 2 items on etsy a week.
It is encouraging to have an awesome opportunity like Laurenly to come along because putting my items in a boutique is such an great option. I would like to find more craft fairs, and maybe another little boutique. Well, just thought I would update those who care and were wondering why my clutches disappeared off etsy.

What are you doing September 11th?

Come visit me at the Old Towne Orange Flea Market!
I will have:
a few bags
Those scarves I mentioned a few days ago ($12)
